For the second consecutive year, the 26th Blackjack Ball was held at one of the unique buildings in Las Vegas, the Cleveland Clinic – Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. (See photo of its unique and distinct architecture.) The building contains a large ballroom that could easily accommodate the 144 invitees to the Ball, who could socialize, network, dine, and drink all evening in comfort.

Knowing when to double down is a key part of any blackjack player's game. Permitting doubles is one way the house reduces the edge it gets from players having to risk busting first.

Regardless of whether you play live or online casinos, you have numbers for card values: 1 or 11 for an Ace, 10 for 10s and face cards, and face values such as 2 for 2s, 3 for 3s and so on for the rest.
