GET IN THE GAME WITH LIVE ULTIMATE TEXAS HOLDEM
Wondering what the difference between live Ultimate Texas Hold'em and standard Texas Hold'em Poker is all about? Ultimate Texas Hold'em delivers the best player versus dealer entertainment, from the comforts of home, or on the go. Our Ultimate Texas Hold'em game is banked by the house, and it streams direct to your screen from a bricks and mortar poker room.
The challenge is clear: Beat the dealer and scoop the pot. To do so, you’ll need the highest-ranking poker hand. Our live casino dealers are the best of the best – they speak English and French – and they've already rolled out the red carpet for you, our VIP guest. No doubt you're itching to get started, let's roll.
In live Ultimate Texas Hold'em poker, the action unfolds in much the same fashion as traditional Texas Hold'em. Players are dealt 2 cards face up by the dealer. These are known as hole cards. In addition, the first 3 community cards are dealt into the center of the table – The Flop. These are followed close in tow by The Turn, and The River. That's 5 community cards to help you form the strongest-ranking hand.
There are two required bets, known as the Ante Bet and the Blind Bet. But since this is an altogether unique variant of poker, there is also another bet known as the Play Bet. If you’ve got poker gaming skills, you'll appreciate all of the betting action that's available with Live Ultimate Texas Hold’em. After placing the Play Bet, you can raise the stakes as high as 3X or 4X the Ante Bet. The quicker you act, the better. After the Flop, the maximum raise amount is 2X, and by the time you get to The River, it's 1X.
That's why we encourage players to think on their feet, act swiftly, and place those bets early. Of all the Texas Hold’em games out there, 888casino Canada players love this 5-card poker game. An unlimited number of players can compete against the dealer for poker glory – that's the beauty of Live Ultimate Texas Hold’em. Just one deck of cards is all it takes to get the action started. That's 52 cards shuffled after every game.
With Live Ultimate Texas Hold'em, players have access to multiple betting options, particularly the optional side bet known as the Trips Bonus Bet. These optional bets are a great way to make bank, even if the dealer is holding the ultimate Texas Hold'em hand. Poker hands like Three of a Kind can pay handsomely in this wildly entertaining variant of the game. The action is about to get started – let’s rack’em and stack’em!
HOW TO PLAY LIVE ULTIMATE TEXAS HOLD'EM
As one of the world's favorite poker games, Live Ultimate Texas Hold'em is incredibly easy to play. Of course, it takes years to master this game, but now is a good time to start. As the king of the poker ring, Live Ultimate Texas Hold'em is plenty exciting. Like Caribbean Stud Poker, this game is also played against the dealer. It doesn't matter what hands other players are holding. Use your 2 pocket cards and the 5 community cards to form the best possible poker hand.
What's great about Live Ultimate Texas Hold'em is that you get to place many bets on your way to compiling a winning hand. These include the mandatory bets, such as the Ante and Blinds, as well as the optional side bet the Trips Bonus Bet. There's no waiting around for a seat to open up at the tables – these are virtual seats and you can always join the action at 888casino Canada, with 1 seat per player. While your cards are dealt face up, the dealer's cards are dealt face down. That's the mystery right there. The poker dealer requires a Pair or Better to qualify, and either way you'll be notified right away.
THE RULES OF PLAY
Just one deck of cards is required to play Live Ultimate Texas Hold'em. After every round of play, the dealer will shuffle the cards. This keeps the action fresh at the tables. Your first order of business is the placement of an Ante Bet. Next, place a Blind Bet. They are equal-value wagers. The Ante Bet is placed by you, and the Blind Bet automatically loads since you are already in the hand. Remember the Trips Bonus Bet? This is an optional bet with big winning potential. All you need to win the Trips Bonus Bet is Three of a Kind, or better. The dealer will deliver 2 cards to you face up, followed by 2 face down cards for himself/herself.
Lots of different actions are available during the betting sessions of play. You can raise 4X the Ante, or you can raise 3X the Ante. It's up to you. Of course, you don't have to raise at all – you can simply Check. If you want to raise 4X, or 3X, select the right chip value and place it on the Play spot on the table. While game rounds are in play, you can only raise 1 time – that's it. The Flop follows next. These include the first 3 community cards dealt into the middle of the table. Next up, is The Turn. This is the fourth community card. And then there is the fifth and final card known as The River. At this point, you are only allowed to raise 1X the Ante Bet.
If you choose not to raise, your only other option is to FOLD your hand. You'll forfeit your bets (Ante + Blind) and you can continue in a new poker game whenever you are ready. For players still in the hand, the dealer will reveal his/her pocket cards, and a winner will be crowned.
SIDE BETS IN LIVE ULTIMATE TEXAS HOLD’EM POKER
Recall that there are two mandatory bets in Live Ultimate Texas Hold'em Poker. These are the Ante Bet and the Blind Bet. You also have the option to play a Trips Bonus Bet. It's not required, but it can be plenty rewarding. You will win when you form Three of a Kind, or better. It doesn't matter what the dealer is holding, as long as your hand meets the minimum requirements of the Trips Bonus Bet. You'll recall that the dealer must qualify with a Pair or Better. If the dealer doesn’t qualify to play, you’ll receive instant notification. A Push follows for the Ante Bet.
Next, the mandatory Blind and the Play Bet will be assessed against the strength of the dealer’s hand. If the dealer’s hand is stronger than the player’s hand, then the dealer wins the round. The dealer will then collect the Play Bet, the Ante Bet, and the Blind Bet. If the player’s hand is stronger than the dealer’s hand, then the player wins the round. In the event of a Tie, the result is a Push with the Ante Bet, Blind Bet, and Play Bets.
