Take your virtual seat at our 888 LIVE casino tables, and watch the magic unfold right before your eyes. With Three Card Poker, the dealer must have a Queen high to start a hand.
Fun Fact: You can enjoy payouts of 100:1 by forming a Pair or Better in this lightning-fast poker game.
Live Three Card Poker features three unique betting options designed to boost your winning potential. These include the Pair Plus Bet, the Ante Bonus Bet, and the 6-Card Bonus Bet. All of the action gets underway with a single 52-card deck. The cards are shuffled after every round of play. This game is bubbling over with big winning potential, let's get to it!
- The Pair Plus Side Bets are plenty rewarding. With these bets, you are required to form a Pair or Better, irrespective of what the dealer’s holding.
- The Ante Bonus Bet pays out handsomely with a Straight or better, regardless of what the dealer is holding
- The 6-Card Bonus Bet is a showstopper. You are required to form the strongest 5-card hand using your three cards and the dealer's three cards. There are plenty of winning combinations, including Three of a Kind, Straight, A Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind, a Straight Flush, and a Royal Flush.
THE RULES OF THREE CARD POKER
How to Form Winning Hands:
- A standard 52-card deck is used for Three Card Poker. The Jokers are excluded. The deck is shuffled after every round of play.
- A Three Card Straight is more valuable than a Three Card Flush, since there are fewer ways to form a Three Card Straight.
- Cards are ranked in descending order, starting with Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2. Note that Aces can be the highest cards and the lowest cards, depending on the other cards in the hand. For example, 3,2, Ace, is Ace-low, while Ace, King, Queen, represents Ace-high. Both hands are known as Straights.
- If the Player hand and the Dealer hand are similar such as a trip, for example Dealer: Queen, Queen, Queen, and Player: King, King, King, then the higher-ranking value wins.
- If both Dealer and Player have a Flush, then the ranking Flush wins, such as King, Jack, 9 beats Jack, 7, 2.
- If the Dealer and the Player tie, then the kicker card determines the winner. For example, if the Dealer and the Player have a pair of 7s, but the player’s kicker card is a King and the dealer’s is a 5, then the player wins.
Three Card Poker: Winning Hands
- A suited Ace, King, Queen is known as a Mini Royal.
- 3 cards of the same suit, in sequence, such as 7, 8, 9 of hearts is known as a Straight Flush.
- Three cards of the same rank, such as 7, 7, 7 are known as Three of a Kind. The higher the rank, the stronger the winning hand.
- Three cards in sequential rank, containing at least 2 different suits is known as a For example, 3, 4, 5 in at least two or more different suits. You can rank Straights according to the highest card in each Straight. If both player and dealer have Straights with the same high-value card, it's a push, since suits don't count either way
- When all three cards are of the same suit, it's known as a Flush. It doesn't matter what the suit is. Flushes are ranked according to the highest card to determine winners. If both the dealer and the player have the same high card, then the second-highest ranking card is considered. If that is identical, then the third card is considered to determine a winner.
- When a three card poker hand contains two cards of the same rank, that is known as a Pair. For ranking purposes, higher pairs beat lower pairs. If the dealer and the player pairs are the same, kicker cards are used to separate them.
- When players or dealers have no winning combinations, the only way to assess hands is by way of a High Card. This is simply the highest ranking card in the hand. Naturally, the best-high card wins.
Winning Hands for the 6-Card Bonus Bet
- A Straight Flush that includes an Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and 10 of the same suit is known as a Royal Flush.
- A Straight Flush contains 5 cards of the same suit, in sequence, for example, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of diamonds.
- When a hand contains 4 cards of the same rank + an additional card, it is known as Four of a Kind. With this hand, the highest ranking Quads are the winners. King, King, King, King, 5 is an example of Four of a Kind.
- Next in line is a Full House. This includes a Pair of cards and Three of a Kind. The winning Full House contains the higher-ranking Three of a Kind.
- A Flush includes all 5 cards of the same suit, but there is no sequential order to the cards. For example, 9, 7, 4, King, and Ace of Clubs. When ranking different Flush hands, it's the highest-value Flush hand that wins. This is determined by the high card, or the next high card, and so on until a winning hand is determined.
- A Straight contains 5 cards in sequential order, comprised of at least 2 different suits. You could have 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 in at least two or more of the following suits (hearts, diamonds, clubs, or spades). Straights are ranked by comparing the high cards. If both straights have the same-value high card, then they have equal value, since suits are irrelevant.
- The lowest-ranking combination for the 6-Card Bonus Bet is Three of a Kind. This includes three cards of the same rank + 2 cards from a different rank, and different to one another, so as not to form a Full House. If you are holding three Jacks, you've got Three of a Kind. Naturally, the highest ranking Three of a Kind hand wins the pot. If the dealer and the player have identical Three of a Kind hands, then the kicker card determines the winner.
THREE CARD POKER RESULTS
